Delay Return System (DRS)

DADCO's Delay Return System (DRS) is used in die applications when it is necessary for the return stroke of the cylinders to remain retracted during operation. During the downstroke the hydraulic cylinders function like normal gas springs, however on the return the cylinder rods remain retracted with minimal spring-back.

DADCO's SLN.090 Micro Nitrogen Gas Lifter provides an all-in-one approach to guided lift applications for progressive stamping.  The SLN.090 has a double-keyed guide rod that prevents rotation and eliminates the need for additional guidance components.

SL2.090 and SL2.180 - Nitrogen Gas Spring Two Post Lifters

DADCO's SL2 Lifters are ideal for progressive dies. Lifting force is provided by the Micro 90™ and Micro 180™ gas springs which are backed by DADCO's Gold Guarantee™. Forces on contact range from 40 lb. to 450 lb.

DADCO's SLN.300 is designed to eliminate the need for additional guidance components in progressive stamping tools.  The SLN.300 has extended guide rod bushings to provide increased stability and has an inverted gas spring inside the keyed guide rod for reliable and adjustable lifting force.

DADCO's SLC.800 is designed to eliminate guide and shock absorber elements in rail lifter applications.  The SLC.800 comes with a longer rod guide to assure stable lifting. This lifter has an internal cushion to decelerate load for improved part handling.

Sectional Mounting System - Internal™ (SMS-i)

Since 2002, DADCO has been providing custom SMS-i plates as an alternative to traditional manifold systems. Utilizing DADCO's gas springs mounted to a base plate with internal plumbing, the SMS-i is less expensive, performs better and is easier to maintain.

DADCO's patented RIC™ Nitrogen Gas Spring is designed to reduce wear and tear on presses by lessening the impact force spike's caused by traditional nitrogen systems. Through use of the RIC™ mechanical shock and noise are reduced on initial impact and pad bounce is diminished improving transfer rates and part quality.

DADCO's Pad Bounce Reducers dampen pad bounce resulting from inertia of the lower pad on the return stroke. The lower pad is stabilized by locating a minimum of four Pad Bounce Reducers at the corners of the die shoe around the pad. Once the pad returns to home position, the bounce is minimized improving the placement of the stamped part. DADCO's Pad Bounce Reducer can be used to replace keepers.

An extension of the ISO HP Standard Air Cylinder line, this special Non-Rotating Cylinder offers dual port capabilities, enabling customers to achieve both the advance and return stroke through connection to just one head.  The oversized rod is designed to add strength while the square shape prevents rotation.

This product is consistent with the DaimlerChrysler Die Standard for the "Non-Rotating Metric Square Rod Air Cylinder" to be used for panel lifting.
