New Compact 1-Ton Nitrogen Gas Spring from DADCO (June 2008)
DADCO's new SCR.0800 gas spring is the lastest additon to DADCO's compact nitrogen gas spring line. The SCR.0800 has a 30 mm diameter body with an oversized 25 mm diameter rod and provides 1-ton of force on contact. The SCR.0800 is available with a variety of stroke lengths from 10 mm to 80 mm.
The SCR.0800 features a port at the bottom of gas spring facilitating pressure adjustment, charging or likned operation using DADCO's exclusive MiniLINK fitting system. The SCR.0800 is also available with a variety of mounts and accessories and is completely serviceable.

New Micro Lifter from DADCO (January 2008)
The new patented SLN.180 Micro Nitrogen Gas Lifter from DADCO provides an all-in-one approach to guided lift applications. This robust 50 mm diameter body lifter has a keyed guide rod preventing rotation and eliminating the need for additional guidance components. Complete with built-in dampening device, the SLN.180 is ideal for progressive stamping dies. The SLN.180 is available with basic and slotted guide rod options for single, multi-point or rail lift operations. DADCO’s popular Micro 180™ gas spring, housed inside the guide rod, provides reliable lifting force and facilitates quick, easy repair.
The SLN.180 provides on-contact forces ranging from 88 lb. to 450 lb. and is available with stroke lengths from 25 mm to 125 mm. In addition, the SLN.180 comes standard with a Keyed Narrow Flange Mount.

Updated HP Series Air Cylinder Catalog from DADCO (November 2007)
DADCO, Inc. recently revised its HP Series Air Cylinder Catalog to include its HP.N Non-Rotating Metric Air Cylinder. Available in ø32 - ø100 mm bore sizes with a variety of stroke lengths and DADCO's standard HP Series mounts, this special cylinder features a square rod to prevent rotation. The non-rotating feature of this cylinder makes it ideal for panel lifting and part positioning applications.
Additional updates to the catalog include reorganized accessory pages and solid model drawings. These additions have been incorporated into the catalog while maintaining the same user-friendly-format.

DADCO’s new Ultra Force Extended™ UX Series fits the standard full height gas spring envelope with 25-55% more force on contact, meaning reduced die construction costs with fewer cylinders. TheUltra Force Extended™ Series consists of four models ranging from 75 mm to 150 mm in diameter with contact forces from 5,356 lb. to 21,447 lb. DADCO’s Ultra Force Extended™ Series is available in stroke lengths to 200 mm, with a variety of welded and attachable mounts.

The new, patent pending, SL2.180 Nitrogen Gas Spring Two Post Lifter is the latest addition to the SL Series of Lifters offered by DADCO. The SL2.180 has a 31.8 mm profile, stroke lengths from 25 mm to 125 mm, and force on-contact up to 450 lbs.; one size larger than the popular SL2.090 that has a 25 mm profile and force on-contact up to 200 lbs.
Lifting force for the SL2.180 is provided by DADCO’s popular Micro 180™ gas spring and is adjustable to meet individual requirements. The lifter’s rail plate is available in an optional compact version and with metric or imperial mounting and dowel holes. Ideal for progressive dies, the SL2.180 and SL2.090 lifters provide a modular approach to lift applications, are easy to order, simple to install and save design time.

New Compact Height Series (March 2007)
The new 90.8 Series is the latest addition to DADCO’s family of compact height nitrogen gas springs. The 90.8 Series is up to 50 mm shorter than comparable ISO Standard springs. The series consists of five different models: 0.75 ton (7.5 kN), 1.5 ton (15 kN), 3.0 ton (30 kN), 5.0 ton (50 kN) and 7.5 ton (75 kN). In addition, the 90.8 Series offers stroke lengths up to 250 mm and is available with numerous mount options.
The 90.8 Series may be linked using DADCO’s hose and fittings or with DADCO’s Sectional Mounting System - Internal™ (SMS-i), an internally piped plate.

Catalog changes include the addition of new solid model cylinder and mount drawings that provide the sixteen-page catalog with a different look and feel while maintaining the user-friendly format. The L Series catalog includes gas spring specifications, force charts, accessories, tools and ordering information.
The L Series has three force models (3 kN, 5 kN and 7.5 kN) with stroke lengths from 13 mm to 125 mm and maintains a uniform height making them easy to design in and interchange if necessary. The U.0175 has a 19 mm diameter body with an 11 mm diameter rod providing over 380 lbs. of force on contact. The U.0175 and is available with stroke lengths from 7 mm to 125 mm. DADCO's CAD library is now available online for quick download. DADCO's complete selection of nitrogen gas springs, metric air cylinders, hydraulic core pin cylinders, and accessories can be downloaded in a variety of 2D and solid model formats. The 2D formats featured are DWG and DXF, while solid model drawings are offered in CATIA, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, ParaSolids, and STEP. Non-Rotating Metric Air Cylinder Series from DADCO (June 2005)
DADCO introduces its new series of Non-Rotating Metric Air Cylinders, the HP.N. The HP.N Series has all the features of DADCO's Standard HP Metric Air Cylinders including adjustable cushion control, aluminum piston, built-in lubrication system, and position sensing capability, while the cylinder's stainless steel square rod prevents rotation.
HP.N cylinders are available in multiple bore sizes from ø32-ø100 mm and in stroke lengths from 25 mm to 500 mm. DADCO's new U.1200 compact nitrogen gas spring is the latest addition to DADCO's low profile, Ultra Force™ Series. The U.1200 is the highest force 50 mm diameter gas spring available industry wide and provides 50% more force than a comparable ISO standard 50 mm diameter nitrogen gas spring at 50% of travel. The U.1200 has a 30 mm diameter rod providing up to 1.2 tons of force on contact and is available with stroke lengths of 10-125 mm.
